Jamie baisley
Founder and Managing Director
Jamie serves as the Managing Director for Frontage Search Partners and is a founding member of the firm. Prior, he was a co-founding partner and Managing Director of Laramie Group, LLC where he was responsible for business development as well as building the team and process around the growth of the platform. Starting in the summer of 2008 with 3 employees, Laramie grew to 10 employees and conducted over 350 assignments.
At Laramie Group, Jamie successfully managed searches across all functions including finance, general management, sales and marketing, supply chain and operations, human resources and technology. Most of his clients were in privately held, private equity-backed and publicly traded companies, primarily in the consumer, industrial and technology industries.
Prior to starting the Laramie Group, Jamie was an Executive Vice President and Head of Research for JobPlex & DHR International. He held numerous roles in sales, management and operations, including the management of more than 50 Associates and was a key contributor to the business’ success. He led a generalist search practice with experience in marketing services, supply chain/logistics, consumer products and manufacturing for clients across the United States and Canada.
Jamie is a graduate of Indiana University where he received his business degree. He was the captain of the football team and received other honors such as the Balfour Award, for "bringing honor and distinction" to the University. He also had a professional career in the NFL, XFL, and NFL Europe where he played for the Rhein Fire in Dusseldorf, Germany.
He is active in the community and is the Former Chairman for Boys Hope Girls Hope of Illinois, a Trustee and founding Chairman of the President's Leadership Council at Loyola Academy, a member of the Chicago Advisory Board for the Concussion Legacy Foundation and prior was a member of the Chairman’s Advisory Council for Big Shoulders Fund and a Committee Member for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital Champions for Children’s event and was a member of the Big10 Host Committee for 2015 Men's Basketball Tournament.
