Dessa is a search consultant specializing in Health/Wellness, Marketing/Creative industries. She believes business is inherently good and that people more than anything drive performance. Her innate ability to make connections between people and ideas, combined with over 10 years experience as global brand marketing leader, help inform and guide her approach to executive search.
Prior to consulting with the Frontage Search Partners, Dessa spent over 10 years working on some of the world’s most recognizable brands (Beam Suntory, Samsung, Kellogg’s, Best Buy, Allstate, The Coca-Cola Company) at globally dominant creative and media agencies Leo Burnett and Starcom Worldwide.
With a drive to accelerate the pace and enhance the meaning of her work, Dessa left big agency life in 2015 to pursue a career as an independent consultant. For the past year and a half, she’s been a growth strategy consultant working with organizations of all functions and sizes to help them align on the right business and marketing strategies while identifying and placing the right talent for growth. She’s consulted and successfully placed talent for non-profits, marketing agencies, and technology and food startups.
Dessa is a graduate of Miami University’s (OH) Farmer School of Business. She most enjoyed being a part of the Nationally top-ranked undergraduate Entrepreneurship program where courses such as “Creativity in Business” continue to inform her career and life direction.
Dessa is a health and wellness advocate, spending her time on food education, new brand identification, and of course taste testing in her kitchen and others’. An adventurer and explorer by nature, Dessa is a frequent traveler and “modern nomad” living and working across the world with Chicago and San Diego serving as homebase(s). She’s a new surfer, lifetime competitive swimmer, 10x triathlete and a “let’s not keep score” golfer. Her husband is kind enough to let the “no score” golf rule apply.
